Wall Decor Ideas

There are many reasons why people want to decorate their homes but the end result should be one that is pleasing to your eyes and help you to feel calm, relaxed, and happy.

It’s sometimes overwhelming trying to decide the best look for your home.

Just this last weekend I had the urge to transform my bedroom without breaking the bank.

Here’s the end result, cost $100 dollars.

The paint for the feature wall was the only out going.

I looked around the rest of the house to see what I could pull from other rooms to achieve the look and feel I was trying to create.

Second hand stores, school fairs, garage sales are also a great way to find hidden treasures.

The atmosphere has changed dramatically. It feels calm and inviting.

I was a bit unsure about painting the wall black, but it has given the room a real depth and a mystical feel.

The two paintings hanging under the planter are the first paintings my twins painted when they went to play group. I found some old frames and there you have it.

The other painting hanging above the bed is a unique African painting, that was hanging in a different room. Because of the colors in the painting this blended well with the rest of the decor.

I didn’t want to make the room to girlie either, as I do have to share the room with my husband lol, but he loves it, Phew.

So get inspired and just do it.
