Whilst in Tanzania at Meserani Snake Park back in 2007, Rose came to the snake park to film her video’s for her album Jipange Sawa Sawa.
We all joined around to watch her sing and make her video’s. At the time my twin girls where about one year old.
Her album was launched in 2008, a friend of the Snake Park (which is my mother and father in laws place) purchased the album, he was watching and much to his surprise saw my twin girls in one of Rose’s video’s, the song is called Nibebe.
He thought to himself, “I know those girls” so he purchased a copy for us and sent it to us.
It was so funny watching them in the video, as I had no idea they had been filmed in it either.
The girls had gone for a walk in their prams with some friends of ours and wandered back up to where all the excitement was. Singing, dancing, naturally my girls wanted to check that out.
2009 The Best Tanzanian Gospel Singer Awards: Rose Mhando; The Best Singer in Tanzania, awarded Tsh 200, 000 by Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation TBC under the Umbrella of her song called ‘Nibebe’
